Chaitronix ("we", "our", or "us") built SmartLedger as a Free app. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our app.
SmartLedger is a 100% offline app. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your data to external servers. Your financial information stays on your device.
SmartLedger does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All financial data — including expenses, income, budgets, and categories — are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
The only personal information the app stores is your first name, which you optionally provide during onboarding. This is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.
All data is stored exclusively on your device. We do not have access to your financial data, spending habits, or any other information you enter into SmartLedger. If you delete the app, all data is permanently removed from your device.

The app may request your permission to send local notifications for daily expense reminders and budget alerts. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any server communication. You can disable notifications at any time in the app settings or in your device's system settings.
SmartLedger does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The app is rated 4+ and contains no objectionable content.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
